As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Workday Cloud Services team in The Woodlands, TX.

Workday Payroll Delivery Specialist – Advanced

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with third-party providers to ensure seamless process delivery.
  • Identifies and researches issues/system defects (with/without guidance) and formulates resolutions/recommendations by analyzing fact patterns and applying/following SOPs and best practices.
  • Provides resolution in accordance with due dates and documents/maintains SOP documentation and processes. Escalates issues/client non compliance of processes/procedures as appropriate.
  • Responsible for daily execution/processing for aligned domain. Adheres to internal and external audit requirements for specific clients.
  • Oversees data processing, using SOP/guidelines, to ensure updates are accurately captured.
  • Responsible for peer review audits of manual work.
  • Identifies potential service delivery issues and provides input towards process improvement.
  • Develops training material and documentation for global support in the ongoing environment.
  • Works with Team Lead/Team Members to communicate with client and/or other domains on issues.
  • Generates ad hoc reports by running and or writing queries and analyze for accuracy.
  • Conducts/supports acceptance testing of ongoing processes as required (at live date and as changes are made).
  • Perform payroll Quality Assurance activities.
  • Calculate and enter payroll payment or deduction data into the payroll system.
  • Monitor inbound interfaces and resolve any edit errors.
  • Load excel files and ensure all data is loaded.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise


Required Experience:

  • Up to 2 years’ experience in a Business, Human Resources or Workforce Administration environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (customer orientated).
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and drive and prioritize own work.
  • Skilled at properly researching, identifying and documenting issues.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS).
  • Experience working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with understanding project management principles.
  • Skilled at working within a Workflow Management Tool and related reports desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications like Excel, Access, and Word
  • Experience working within a client administrative environment.
  • Ability to navigate and learn multiple systems
  • Travel requirement: 10%


Preferred Experience:

  • Workday experience



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
