As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our CDS business group within Alight Solutions.


Your Impact As A Workday Senior Director

 As a leader in the Cloud Advisory Services team, you will provide FINS advisory to global clients looking to transform their FINS Service Delivery Models. You will assist them in the evaluation of FINS operations - service center effectiveness and design, staffing capabilities, and practices and processes delivered through Cloud FINS systems such as Workday, Oracle FINS Cloud Applications, and SAP FINS Cloud Applications. You will be accountable for the overall revenue and growth of the practice or your region.


In this role, you will consult with clients on their FINS organization, FINS Transformation, Cloud Business Case, FINS Operating Model and operational readiness, conduct pre-deployment gap analysis related to potential future Cloud FINS deployments, handle process redesign, recommend solutions on future FINS service delivery, required roles/responsibilities and capability enablement planning.


  • Work the market or region to generate new opportunities and leads
  • Work with CE’s and your network to proactively identify and pursue clients that may lead to Cloud Transformation
  • Lead proposal development and sales pursuits.
  • Manage and deliver components of client engagements involving transitions to cloud-supported FINS service delivery models
  • Work with clients to understand current and future FINS service delivery model changes
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships
  • Lead current state FINS operations assessments and interviews
  • Conduct pre-deployment readiness gap assessment towards future FINS cloud solutions including Workday, Oracle and SAP cloud solutions.
  • Advise clients on FINS service center structure, process design and capability considerations to address future service delivery concerns.
  • Redesign processes; develop process maps that reflect future state efficiencies
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation aligned to client Workday tenant
  • Support business case development related to implementation of future FINS Service Delivery Model
  • Advise on case management and knowledge management tools
  • Research / keep up to date on FINS service delivery effectiveness, cloud FINS systems functionality and provide deep subject matter expertise.
  • Establish good working relationships and collaborate with colleagues across Aon to provide high quality solutions for our clients


  • 8-10 years of relevant FINS transformation consulting or industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a global service center environment managing FINS operations
  • Demonstrated ability in client relationship management
  • Strong consultative capabilities; ability to interact at all levels of the client organization
  • Experience in leading client interviews, conducting workshops, or facilitating meetings
  • Superior knowledge of FINS function, processes and best practices
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:  FINS Strategy, FINS Shared Services, FINS Customer Experience, FINS Business Partner Design, CoE Strategy and Design, Outsourcing advisory, Metrics & Benchmarking, FINS Process Redesign
  • Experience in leading the vendor selection process(client and supplier sides) including RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating products and services
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting FINS operational assessments, developing strategic recommendations and building business case for change
  • Excellent ability in leading and managing projects to timelines

Willingness to travel up to 60 percent of the time.



  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Human Resources, Organization Development or equivalent in experience. 
  • Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0)
  • Workday HCM Certification a plus
