Alight Solutions Is Looking For A Sr. Analytics Consultant

 

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Health & Wealth Solutions business group within Alight Solutions.  As a Sr. Analytics Consultant you will report directly to the Director, Health & Wealth Solutions, Operations and Analytics.

  

Your Impact As A Sr. Analytics Consultant

The Sr. Analytics Consultant at Alight Solutions is responsible for supporting the business with data driven decision making through the design, tracking, interpretation, and analysis of operational metrics. The Sr. Analytics Consultant partners with business leaders to identify metrics, reporting and analytic needs, and process improvement opportunities. This role works with the business and operates at multiple organizational levels to help influence, drive, and deliver business intelligence solutions.



Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and reporting of contractual and operational metrics.
  • Provides consulting and support to senior management or executive leaders. Clearly articulates recommendations in a business friendly format.
  • Develops, trains, coaches, and evaluates team members.
  • Establishes operational objectives and action plans and delegates assignments to team members.
  • Facilitates prioritization of metric reporting and analytic development efforts based on input from business leadership.
  • Manages business intelligence development projects and provides data analysis in support of key business initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Work with SMEs in the business to gather requirements for new data and analytics projects.
  • Coordinates, with Benefits IT, the transition from manual reporting solutions to IT-based reporting solutions.
  • Coordinates, with India Metrics & Reporting colleagues, development of manual reporting solutions.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of best practice reporting standards.
  • Interactions frequently involve special skills, requiring the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others without damage to the relationship.
  • Identifies current process, system, and tooling deficiencies and works to strategically solve the issues.
  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

 

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

 

 Required Experience

  • Knowledge of current trends and techniques of data visualization, data management, reporting and quality.
  • Strong analytical and operational process skills
  • Advanced Excel knowledge

 

Preferred Experience

  • Background, experience, and knowledge in Customer Service data and analytics
  • Basic Benefits/HR Delivery knowledge
  • PMP certification or strong project management skills
  • Six Sigma certification desired
  • Knowledge of Tableau and Cognos reporting tools.
  • Visual Basic and/or SQL Programming experience

  • Works in a fast paced environment balancing multiple deliverables at once.

 

Work Conditions

  • Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
  • Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time.
  • Participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.

  

Education:

  • Bachelors or equivalent experience
