As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Consumer Experience business group within Alight Solutions.

This role falls under Alight’s Early Career Development Program, known as Ignite.

Your Impact As A HRO Project Coordinator


The person in this role will work in a team based, fast paced, solution oriented environment focused on delivering interactive technology solutions to our clients and their participants in support of an end to end consumer experience. As part of a team, the role will be looked upon to leverage knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Consumer Experience Management
  • Web technologies
  • Mobile Solutions
  • User Interaction in Digital mediums
  • Content management


The successful candidate will leverage their understanding and education in the one or more of the above items in order to create innovative and effective electronic solutions for our clients that support their HR organization around talent, health and wealth and distinctive consumer experience. This role will interact with both internal and external clients to help envision holistic solutions that combine already existing solutions as well as the architecting of new solutions. Ability to travel and work at client locations may occasionally be necessary, but not common (10%).


Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating, monitoring and influencing project plans for various clients
  • Performing risk analysis and planning for assigned projects
  • Monitoring ongoing risk, and reporting changes to stakeholders
  • Communicating project progress to leaders and stakeholders
  • Interacting with other Project Managers to improve methodology and reporting
  • Financial monitoring and reporting of the project
  • Track key progress to targeted goals, and working with team to address noted deficiencies
  • Utilizing integrated management methods that include business planning, metrics reporting and ongoing reviews
  • Supporting completion of requirements for configuration, internal testing, and client/external testing
  • Working problems and projects in which an analysis of the situation or the data requires an evaluation of identifiable or intangible variables as well as "systems thinking" viewpoints to identify and address unintended consequences.
  • Proactively improving and promoting the quality of processes and systems to track and report business performance
  • Evaluating client requests against current and future capacity
  • Developing appropriate technical solutions to deliver on client requests with support of the project team
  • Providing input for process improvement/lessons learned
  • Coordinating resources to ensure the highest priority items are handled first
  • Ensuring clarity of vision to construction units, offshore teams and client delivery group

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

  •  Awareness/experience in technical areas such as software development, software testing, systems implementation, database management, and operational support.
  • Preferred knowledge in web technologies, terms, practices, and trends
  • Understanding of software methodology development processes
  • Knowledge of consumer experience management principles.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and trends, HR content areas and HR data systems a plus.
  • Experience with mobile application design and development a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of PMI Project Management process and tools
  • Develops financial acumen by learning and using the appropriate financial tools
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office tools, presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn and appropriately apply those learnings.
  • Displays a continuous improvement mindset to create efficiencies


Preferred Experience:

  • Previous internship(s) experience preferred
  • Experience with web technologies



  • Bachelor's degree in technology-related discipline or equivalent experience required.
