As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Consumer Experience team within Alight Solutions.

This role falls under Alight’s Early Career Development Program, known as Ignite.

Your Impact As A Communication Specialist


The Alight Consumer Experience practice works with clients to design and distribute comprehensive, multimedia communication campaigns for our clients’ employees and their family members, covering a full spectrum of internal communication and Human Resource areas. From annual health care enrollment to retirement planning, from compensation and pay program design to performance management, Alight Consumer Experience consultants deliver accurate, timely and engaging messages through print and online channels to help our clients and their people achieve mutual success.


Our North American Consumer Experience practice includes more than 400 consultants with expertise in strategy, writing, art direction, graphic design, editing, production, and digital media.



Job Responsibilities:

The Communication Specialist will be primarily responsible for creating content to be delivered through print, online, and mobile channels. Specifically:


  • Write and edit results-driven communication materials that engage the reader, influence behavior, and help clients achieve desired outcomes.
  • Participate in client and internal meetings, both in-person and virtually, to discuss Alight’s point of view and provide collaborative, strategic consulting.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Alight’s core businesses, offers and best practices.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous internship(s) or communication-related work experience is considered a plus



  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or similar disciplineApplicants for this role, which is part of the Alight’s Early Career Development Program - Ignite, must graduate between December 2017 – June 2018 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
