Alight Solutions Is Looking For A Workday Specialist

 

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our HR & Financial Solutions group within Alight Solutions.

This role falls under Alight’s Early Career Development Program, known as Ignite.

Your Impact As A Workday Specialist

 

This role is within the outsourcing business; formerly a part of Aon Hewitt is now Alight Solutions. You will partner with clients and cloud deployment solution providers to strategize, implement and operate Workday’s next generation SaaS-based solutions for Human Resources, Payroll and Financials. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong awareness of project lifecycle and establish working relationships with colleagues to provide high quality solutions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to client support, technical delivery and service delivery for a group of supported clients (internal & external) for AMS.
  • Implement, integrate and support complex solutions for clients across a wide spectrum of industries, locations and business needs.
  • Establish working relationships and collaborate with colleagues globally to provide a high quality solution for our clients.
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of project lifecycle; from planning and design to configuration, testing and deployment.
  • Research business challenges and use analytical skills to provide optimal solutions.
  • Evaluate your responsibilities and demonstrate awareness of how your role relates to the big picture.
  • Complete project related tasks on time, with quality and suggest opportunities for process improvement.
  • Understand the value of proper and effective planning.
  • Monitor progress of tasks against a project plan and communicate status regarding project issues.
  • Contribute to growing the knowledge capital base through activities such as sharing lessons learned with colleagues.
  • Seek opportunities to learn and take on additional tasks and responsibility.
  • Develop deep skills in functional and technical areas, such as human resources, payroll, recruiting, integration technology, data analysis, system architecture and more.
  • Build strong business relationships with clients and become a trusted advisor.
  • Represent the organization in a professional manner.
  • Understand the importance of client satisfaction and use this knowledge to meet client needs in daily interactions.
  • Travel between 5-10%.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous internship(s) experience preferred
  • Experience with MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree Applicants for this role, which is part of the Alight’s Early Career Development Program - Ignite, must graduate between December 2017 – June 2018 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
